Many tree lined streets with abundance of brownstones and mid rise residential buildings. Some brownstones date back centuries and streets are not laid out in a grid format, as the rest of Manhattan. Many great places to shop and even more great places to eat. New York University is a huge part of Greenwich Village with campus buildings throughout. Great contrast in architecture from lower Fifth Avenue to Union Square. Inventory is dominated by coops, however condos and town homes are still in play.
